Since  qualifying as an Alexander Technique Teacher in 1991, I have taught the Alexander Technique in  private practice, at the Welsh College of Music and Drama, on Teacher Training courses, and have advised a government educational body, I enjoy voice work with singers and actors and teach  public speaking skills. My daughter is an Alexander Teacher in Bristol.

I qualified as an Alexander Teacher in 1989 after a varied career that included working as a research scientist, art teacher, potter, organic grower, and performing artist. I have taught creativity and improvisation, skills and now divide my time between teaching the Technique and my performing arts work, . I currently provide entertainment for families and children under the name Professor Paradox and educational theatre shows for schools with my company Paradox Theatre
To qualify as a Member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, (STAT) a teacher must complete an approved three-year full time training, and is expected to maintain an ongoing program of professional development. For more information about the Society click here STAT

Our Alexander Technique lessons are taught one to one - we do not  teach groups or classes
